Equip managers and leaders with the tools to drive motivation and retention
Great leaders aren’t born—they’re developed. Our small group leadership coaching program provides a personalized, results-driven approach to help your team grow as leaders, overcome challenges, and achieve your organizational goals with confidence.
Our mentoring program, which is similar to a mastermind, brings together a select group of leaders for guided discussions, shared learning, and mutual support. Through regular facilitated sessions, participants gain fresh perspectives, tackle real-world leadership challenges, and build a trusted network of like-minded professionals. This collaborative approach fosters accountability, confidence, and continuous growth, helping leaders refine their skills in a supportive, high-impact environment.
Invest in your leadership. Invest in your future. Let’s start the conversation today.
The Working Genius assessment, created by Patrick Lencioni, is different from other assessments because it is 20% personality and 80% productivity. People who understand their areas of genius show up to work happier, are more effective, and play well with others. Lencioni discovered there are six types of work. These six are required whether you’re working on launching a product, organizing a nonprofit, or planning a vacation. The Working Genius model explains the six types of work and the order of those stages. Each of us have the ability to get joy and energy from two of those types of work, which are our individual geniuses. And because we love that kind of work, we usually gravitate toward it and are pretty good at it.
The Working Genius Assessment helps everyone identify their gifts and limitations so they can maximize satisfaction and contribution in their work and life. The model helps us understand how we contribute, and why teamwork is so important, since no one person can embody all six geniuses. Teams that use this tool find immediate impact on their productivity, morale, and burnout.

Managing employee engagement in an organization is critical to the success of its employees and the organization as a whole. Engaged employees have higher well-being, better retention, lower absenteeism and higher productivity.
However, the latest Gallup survey shows that only 30% of employees are actively engaged in their jobs, with 18% saying that they are actively disengaged. According to the survey, less than half of all employees say they know what is expected of them at work; only 38% of employees feel that their supervisor cares about them; 70% say that nobody at work encourages their development; and 72% say that they don't receive regular recognition for their hard work. With these kinds of results, it's no wonder that companies are struggling with employee retention and productivity!
Vellamo works with leadership teams to identify the issues that are keeping employees from feeling engaged, and develops and implements strategies to equip managers and leaders with the tools they need to turn the workforce from one that is disconnected into a focused, motivated team that is committed to the organization's success. These strategies could include:
Defining performance metrics for employees, communicating these metrics so personnel understand what is expected of them, and implementing systems to track performance against the metrics
Implementing the Motivating by Appreciation system to identify each employee's "Appreciation Language" so everyone feels recognized and valued
Providing leadership training for managers at all levels to help them develop the leadership attributes needed to connect with their people
Designing a corporate training program to provide development opportunities for all employees to allow them to learn, grow, and contribute at higher levels
Our consulting services are tailored for each of our clients to best fit the specific needs of their organizations. We'd love to chat about how we can help your organization maximize employee engagement!
